STIHL’s MS 151 C-E petrol chainsaw is very lightweight, ergonomic, and effortless to use, suited to the domestic user for pruning, snedding, hedge-laying, and building with wood. Getting started is simple and effortless with STIHL ErgoStart that prevents excessive pulling on the cord, and STIHL ElastoStart which is a special shock absorber grip with damper and a decompression valve further make for a reliable start every time. STIHL recommends a 10 inch bar to be used with this chainsaw, but you can also purchase a machine with a 12 inch bar if you like.
Efficient to use with user-friendly features
The MS 151 C-E saw is packed full of technologies and features for efficient use and a smooth cutting performance. The 1/4 inch PM3 saw chain offers low kickback and low vibration operation, and the anti-vibration system further assists a smooth operation by reducing the transfer of vibrations to the handle, enabling the user to work comfortably for longer. Power output is increased and consumption is reduced due to the 2-MIX engine separating exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas. A controlled-delivery oil pump enables the user to precisely control the amount of oil needed for any given job, and side-mounted chain tensioning makes it safer to adjust the chain tension. Additional user-friendly features include a protective rear hand guard, a tool-free fuel cap, plus a master control lever.
