New to our Power+ range of cordless garden tools for 2021, the ST1401E-ST line trimmer is the latest model in our range to be equipped with our unique Powerload™ technology. Following on from the world's first self-winding line trimmer (EGO Power+ ST1510E), the ST1400E-ST model gives you more choice in this game-changing technology. Fully reload the line in less than 10 seconds with no fuss and no frustration. Featuring a 35cm cutting width, the ST1401E-ST is supplied with a 2.4mm line diameter and cuts in a clockwise rotation. Variable speed settings mean that you can ramp up the power when you're tackling a particularly tough patch, and you can replenish your line when needed thanks to the bump head which is fitted. For comfort, the loop-handle can be adjusted to suit your working style, plus the telescopic shaft means the height is also adjustable to reduce bending and provide long-term health benefits. Without the battery attached, the tool is 3.4kg and will run for up to 60 minutes with our 2.5Ah battery - making the tool and battery a combined 4.6kg. The ST1401E-ST line trimmer kit is supplied with a 2.5Ah battery and standard charger. This means, when it comes to weight, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Without the battery attached, the tool is 3.4kg (4.6kg in total with the battery attached) and will run for up to 60 minutes on a full charge. The standard charger will fully recharge this battery in 50 minutes.

This kit product is supplied with a 2.5Ah battery and standard charger, which will allow you up to 70 minutes of run time, and full recharge from empty in 50 minutes. The 33cm cutting width tackles any task with ease, and the bump feed head means you can replace your line in action. The line trimmer is 173cm long, and is fitted with an adjustable handle allowing you to set up your tool to your perfect specification.

The EGO BCX3800 is the tough answer to rough ground, and is perfectly balanced for comfortable use. Light yet strong, the carbon fibre drive shaft won’t bend or lose shape over time, keeping vibration levels to a minimum. The tool is versatile, and can be used with either the line trimmer or brush cutter head included, as well as the RTX2300 rotocut, which will take your capabilities to another level. When the line trimmer head is attached, the line is housed inside a manual wind bump feed head. It is supplied with 2.4mm line, but is capable of holding line up to 3mm thick to assist with cutting more stubborn areas.The three-sided steel blade (ABB1203) has a 30cm cutting width, which means you can get closer to hard-to-reach areas which are regular pain points. The tool is fitted with a variable speed trigger which you can control to ensure you’re working efficiently and safely. When switching between the line trimmer head and the three-sided blade (or rotocut), ensure to read the manual which can be downloaded below, or found in the box when your tool arrives. It’s important to follow the instructions to ensure safe and correct installation. A hip pad (AHP1500) harness is also included in the box to prevent injury or unnecessary wear to your clothing whilst in use. The tool is compatible with the Ego Power+ backpack, and the Pro-X harness – both of which will help to alleviate excess weight of the tool by housing the battery on your back.
