Description

A robust and lightweight, semi-professional hedge trimmer.

A hedge trimmer that’s a cut-above the domestic models, STIHL’s HS 56 C-E can tackle tough garden tasks with its 24 inch / 60 cm double-sided blade.

ErgoStart for easy operation

With STIHL’s ErgoStart technology on board, the starting process is made considerably easier. For example, the effort needed to start the tool is reduced by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just a third of the normal force. A manual fuel pump is available too, which can deliver fuel to the carburettor with a button press. This reduces the number of starting pulls required following extended breaks in operation. An electronic ignition module is also on board, ensuring reliable starting and trouble-free running.

Innovative 2-MIX engine

The 2-stroke 2-MIX engine that comes with this machine has been specifically designed for the new generation of hedge trimmers. It combines low fuel consumption and emissions with low weight and excellent acceleration.  When combined with the 24 inch / 60 cm double-sided cutting blade, which is sharpened on both sides, you can expect superb cutting performance. The engine is protected by a long-life air filter system, which ensures longer cleaning intervals and better protection.

Comfortable & simple to use

As well as the easy starting procedure, STIHL have also included several features to keep operator comfort at an excellent level. Firstly, their anti-vibration system dampens oscillations from the machine’s engine to significantly reduce vibrations at the handles. The machine also boasts single lever operation, with the choke, start gas, operating position and stop function all housed in one place, allowing you to concentrate on the job at hand.
